2024 American Solar Challenge

Saturday July 20th - Saturday July 27th

The American Solar Challenge (ASC) is a competition to design, build, and drive solar-powered cars in a cross-country time/distance rally event. Teams compete over a 1,500-2,000 mile course between multiple cities across the country.

This year's journey starts in Nashville, Tennessee and ends in Casper, Wyoming, following 7 unique National Historic Trails.

The precursor and qualifier for ASC is The Formula Sun Grand Prix (FSGP). FSGP, this year, takes us to The National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky where we will take Calypso to the Track.

A huge part of our ability to compete is through donations from our generous sponsors and donors. Click the button below to learn more about how to support us or reach out on the contact form.
