Priyal is a rising sophomore who joined Illini Solar Car this past year as part of the electrical subgroup. She loves being a part of ISC because it’s cool to race a car that was built from scratch, and she can learn many new technical skills along the way. She also likes how hands-on it is. “One of the coolest parts of Argo that I’ve worked on is the battery box and helping make sure the car doesn’t catch on fire.” At the American Solar Challenge, Priyal is looking forward to competing with other solar car teams, potentially repairing Argo on the road, and camping. In her free time, Priyal likes running, playing tennis and soccer, and drinking bubble tea.
